My husband and I rescued “Dakota” 13 years ago. We found her, or I like to say, she found us on a very rainy evening. This summer Dakota was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer. She fought the fight and we tried every option given to us. Unfortunately we decided to end her suffering on November 18th.
I think about her first thing in the morning and she is the last thing I think about before I go to sleep. It is still very raw and I miss her more every day. I hold the good memories very close and feel lucky to have had her in our lives. Meet you at the bridge “DODIE”.
