I just finished reading Rescuing Sprite and I was brought to tears. It is so great knowing that there are other people who can share a deep conection with dogs. I volunteer at a rescue and I see the results of neglect and abuse so much so that you begin to like dogs more. We also see the happy endings with adoptions to great families like mark’s. We are a non kill shelter so our dogs will always have a home. I work with tremendous people who share Mark’s passion. It is the first time in my life that I wish there were more hours to volunteer. It is so rewarding. Please remember to adopt from shelters and rescues. Get informed about puppy mills and push for humane laws regarding breeding.
