I just said farewell to my German Shepherd Branden, 12-1/2 years old, last Saturday. My grown sons Nick and Dan were with me at the vet’s. That is the first time I’ve had to had a pet euthanized. It was painful, but it was the right thing to do. Branden had his “people” with him at the end, and was surrounded with love and attention. It’s been a relief knowing he’s no longer suffering. Thank you for sharing your story in “Rescuing Sprite” and creating a forum for your listeners and fellow dog lovers to share their joys and sorrows as pet lovers.
