Merkava’s Poem

You can search for a lifetime to find a true friend. A faithful old companion who will be there through thick and thin. Someone who shares your laughter and your many pains and fears, but helps you get through them all for many, many years.
I have a friend like that but now she’s gone so I wrote this in her honor cause God called her home.
She played ball with my children, she was there when I was sick, and I never could convence her to get that damed old stick.
So if all dogs go to heaven, she will be there with a smile. She’ll meet me at the pearly gates when I walk my last mile.
