Although Mark Levin is known as a constitutional lawyer and a nationally syndicated broadcaster, he is, first and foremost, a dog lover. In 1998, he and his family welcomed a half-Border Collie/half-Cocker Spaniel they named Pepsi into their lives. Six years later, his wife and son persuaded him to adopt a dog from the local shelter, a Spaniel mix. It turned out he was older than originally thought, and he was the most beautiful dog they'd ever seen. They named him Sprite.

Mark: Many thanks for writing this book. I assure you it will help anyone that is experiencing this grief. It is the most awful feeling I can only decribe it as an empty hole. Last Friday November 2nd 2007 we had to put our Boxer, Buster to sleep. Like you, we adopted Buster and he was the light of our life. We were blessed with ten years but hardly enough…..

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Iam also a Boxer owner I lost my 1st one 3 1/2 yrs ago His name was Rock. He wanst even 5. We now have another Boxer, Zachariah Rock.Both born on the same day. My story is way back under the heading of MARK. Boxers life spand are generaly 8 – 10 yrs, I know you rescued yours, just wonering how old was he?Again I am sorry for your loss, I know it recently just happened and I feel for you.
