Bubba

On October 11, 2004, I had to make the horrible decision to end the life of my sweet pug, Frisco Sammy.

On October 15, 2009, Bubba came to live with me and I am forever thankful.

The beauty is, Bubba is not Frisco Sammy, he’s Bubba. I love them both so very much.

Tux

Hi Mark,

I listen everyday to you and just love you lots!!!  I know you are a dog lover but I wanted to share with you about our cat tux. We had her for 15 years and we had to put her down 2 weeks ago.  I had never lost a pet this way and it was the hardest thing I had to do.  I read your book a year ago not knowing how much your book would mean to me and just wanted to thank you for all that you do.

The Army of Four are our four Siberian Huskies. Three are from our local shelter, one was rescued off a farm. They have all been through remarkable transformations siince joining our family and we feel very blessed to have them in our lives. They are daily “dog bloggers”, site found at http://armyoffourdigest.blogspot.com/. They are currently approximately 13, 11, 10 and 9 years old.

Dog Books

Mark, I just finished a good book titled \”The Art of Racing in the Rain\”, by Garth Stein ( I think).  Nice story narrated by the dog who shares the same love of auto racing and fast cars, as his owner.

JAZZ

Hello Mark,

Wanted to tell you about a Mardi Gras parade, held in New Orleans, called “The Krewe of Barkus”.
This is a dog parade, with over 2,000 poochies, from all over the USA.
The website is www.barkus.org .

I was in the parade for 5 years – until my buddy, JAZZ (see attached pic), a 7 pound poodle, was accidentally run over by my employer’s daughter, on 09-02-05.
Thanks for all that you do for conservatives and the doggies. .
