Maggie
Your story about your dogs is very inspirational. We had our dog daughter Maggie, who lived for 18 years, she was a gorgeous, sweet, kind, loving dog. Since we have no children, we were blessed to have Maggie in our lives. Earlier this year, Maggie got to the point where she couldn’t sit up and eat her food, she had many problems with her heart, so after several visits to our vet, we decided to let Maggie go, it broke my heart, and I’ll never be the same without her. Here is a story that we sent to our friends who loved Maggie like we did.
A note for Maggie
Hello. We’ve been expecting you for quite some time. Here, come sit beside us for awhile .
and let us tell you about our sweet daughter, Maggie.
She might look tired or maybe old but we won’t say goodbye until you’ve been told. She had the brightest eyes we had ever seen, and wore a beautiful fur coat that would out shine a queen. She was never prissy but walked with an aire, we called her queenie.
She was so polite, you could take her most anywhere. She would run like the wind and caught everything she chased
But she protected and sat with us when we had issues to face.
You would not find a friend so dear. Because no matter the trouble she always stayed near. She greeted me and helped me with my fears.
Now we understand you have a schedule to keep.
But we have a small favor before Maggie goes to sleep. Please fold your wings around Maggie and let her feel young while in no pain; dear guardian angel of our sweet dog, please keep Maggie safe and happy until we get to see her again.
