My husband and I listen to your show every afternoon on the way home from and we have your book.  I\’ve heard you mention your dogs before and I\’m glad that you take the time to do so.  We are involved in rescue work and usually have a dog at home that we\’ve pulled from the kill shelter and are holding it while we\’re waiting for a transport to a permenent foster home.  It would be great if you would mention to your listeneners the probability that a dog purchased from a pet store is from a puppy mill.  Most every breed has a rescue group that pulls dogs from kill shelters and takes owner turn ins. Let them know that if they are interested in a dog, they can find one by searching the internet for that breed rescue or going to www.petfinder.com.
